Has OCZ ever given any information on what percentage of their sales are derived from Amazon, Newegg and other big online venues?
On their site they list US distributors as ASI, Ingram, Microland, Synnex, Avnet etc...
Do the overwhelming majority of sales flow through these distributors? Or is it more of a direct to consumer type sales model?
I'm just trying to gain some idea of the importance of what appears to be overwhelming dominance online as far as sales ranks and consumer acceptance of a company who's sort of been written off for dead by the street (despite a nearly 100% move off the lows, its still dirt cheap given the potential of the sector that is experiencing unprecedented growth).
