Last June, Fusion-io announced a significant supply contract with Cisco in which the company will provide its flash memory modules for use in Cisco's fast-growing UCS server line. The size of the deal will make Cisco a greater than 10% Fusion-io customer.
Microsoft has already made their decision for their Azure cloud storage requirements and is using StorSimple's HDD/SSD hybrid storage software solution.
Additionally, last October, Microsoft also acquired StorSimple.
just a question hookie if ocz was involved with azure how could they not have the drives that go into it in stock? wouldn't they be making a ton of them and this be headline news? i know you will say they waiting to pump this out but be real, they have 22 days to raise 10 million from a bank, you don't think a sale like this would give them the easy access to that cash?
