My view why BP is lagging...
Strictly for two reasons. Damage from the Texas City fire together with the Thunderhorse
dabolicle happening nearly at the same time, but more signifcantly the one major hindrance
has been the deal with TNK in Russia.
After the way Vladamir Putin thew the CEO of Yukos in jail and split up the company, every other western oil company got (and their shareholders) got nervous about deals with these thieving Rusky bastards.
The TNK deal is a BIG BIG investment for BP and shareholders or potential shareholders
are still mulling the Yukos fiasco in their mind when they think of buying BP.
