I am short BP, but it appears that they are going to attempt to cover up this spill using massive amounts of a toxic disbursement chemical. Isn't this just adding more toxins into the environment? It does not get rid of the oil, it only makes it mix with the water. BP has not even admitted to the amount of the spill. It appears that the US Coast Guard is on BP's side since they have not raised their estimate of the amount of oil that has spilled. NPR had 3 different scientists use 3 different methods and all of their estimates were 10 times what BP has said. I know there is limited data, but to be off by 1000% is pretty much lying to the public. The latest news said that they want BP to admit in public that they won't try to stay under the 75 million cap. I wonder who made such a ridiculously low cap for oil spills?
