"That part of the operation was completed early Friday and appeared to have been partially successful"
Partially successful???...Which means the other 'part' was a failure???...And how big is the successful 'part'? Is it a little part, a medium part or a big part?
Double talk, double talk and more double talk.
Partially successful means they stopped about 10% of the flow. The rubber balls plugged the little holes.
Used NBA basketballs will be sent down next. These have joint signatures of many NBA players and Obama.
It is BP's belief that the signed Basketballs by Obama will do the trick.
It is also BP's belief that funds will have one more trading days to bail.
"Partially successful means they stopped about 10% of the flow. The rubber balls plugged the little holes."
Which means the flow rate at the larger holes would have increased almost proportionally due to the increased pressure.
So the flow rate out of the remaining 90% of the holes would now be rough 110%??? That is so comforting. I guess the funds are hoping most people in the market do not understand the laws of physics.
The ability to pump mud and junk down the pipe in itself is a success. Whether it can overcome the pressure from the well and stop the flow of oil is still up in the air. As long as they keep pumping mud in the oil isn't coming out.
My guess it will be success and here's why.
The junk they pump in ((rubber and such) will eventually come up to the cracks in the pipe and clog them. Will take some good luck.
>>Partially successful???...Which means the other 'part' was a failure???...
Most likely it means it is working according to plan, it stopped the oil, but equilibrium has not bee reached so more mud is needed.
"YES THEY DID HAVE PARTIAL SUCCESS THEY STOPPED THE FLOW OUT OF THE BROKEN RISER ON THE RIGHT BUT THE LEFT CONTINUED TO FLOW THEY WILL TRY AGAIN WITH ANOTHER JUNK SHOT"
Thanks Greg I did not catch that.
So the statements made that said they have halted the oil flow are void of the truth?(So much nicer than saying bullchit)
