OMG the photos are unbelievable. It's massive. It's going to be like a dead alien planet. I live in FL and it's just making me cry. This state was so beautiful 30 years ago. I saw on tv Obama is heading to check on the clean up effort. WHAT clean up effort? There is no one out there doing ANYTHING to clean up, a few hired guys raking forlornly on the beach. It's unbelievable. They don't want to spend the money to clean it, they are hoping the dispersants keep it under water, out of site, and then it will drift out into the open ocean IT's so obvious

Ya', but it'll make a great photo op for our commander in chief. He's out there on the front lines on the beach, with a rake in hand willing to put up those sand burms himself. Well, now that he's approved the permits for constructing them. And to think it only took his administration 38 days to make that very important decision, sheeesh, we're $crewed.
