Could be, but I have thought it looks like they were trying to light something...almost like using a welding rod to spark the gas. I have noticed this for over 2 hours, but only now do I see what almost looks like small flame outs, like putting a flame in front of hairspray for a half second.
I'm not saying its a flame or if it is that its something they shouldn't be doing, I am just curious.
I have also wondered for 2 days why the leak seems to be bi colored. There is a dark plume and sometimes a mid dark plume. I don't think its the lighting but it just might be nat gas escaping at a different rate than the oil.
