I hope they can get this thing fixed but it looks worse to me.
You and your gang of shorts are stupid. The capping process is not just putting on a cap and it is over. The cap was designed by the world leading scientist to be slowly adjusted to the real flow of oil. OK. No go back to your drinking, watching Fox News etc.
"The cap was designed by the world leading scientist"
You must be very proud of your father. He should have had a better crew installing his wonderful invention.
It doesn't look like a Nobel Prize is in the future for this germandered attempt.
Hopefully they will be able to eventually capture 75% of the now larger leak.
Go give your father a big kiss. His daughter may not be very bright, but she is loyal.
Anne nice try but changing the focus from the real time video which clearly shows a huge oil leak will not work. Look at the link provided and comment on it. Comments on your fellow posters merely indicate you know the leak is increasing and you don't want others to think about it. Go blow your smoke up somebody else's ass.
When you put a hose on the water faucet without a tight seal the water sprays everywhere, especially if the hose is smaller than the faucet pipe, but the water that fits in the hose still makes it though. Same result here.
The drunker you guys get the more oil you see leaking. If you didn't drink so much perhaps you could get a job and stop blowing your wife's paycheck on shorting stocks which make HUGE profits every day. When the income goes away then short something. You are fools to short the most profitable company the world has ever seen. Hurry up happy hour is over in 7 minutes better order anouther round.
It is not getting worse. It is getting much better. They are from time to time opening the vents to test flow rates. You guys really should just stick to drinking and leave this stuff to the professionals.
I was long till ameritrade took out my position saving me money. I lost when the first attempt was done and I think the CEO has no business saying something will work when it obviously had no chance. I do not trust BP and has since shorted the stock. I have recouped my money from the long butt fuckin I took. I plan to short the rest of my position to zero.

Aren't you proud of yourself! Well, please keep us informed. It is always good to have a true expert like you on a message like this.
The plan is to completely lower the rig pipe and equipment Which weighs in excess of 20,000 pounds) down onto the seal area so the gap closes.
They can't do that until they get the vent closed and the system balanced out. Here's the CNN footage that explains the whole operation:
Profesionals like the BP CEO? He doesn't even know how to handle PR. He says he want's his life back, what about the 11 people that died, don't you think they wan't their life back!!!!!
Don't you get it either? Wake up!
Rob the people of the coast will own bp b4 it is all over!
Money at this point is only a band aide!
I for one dont care about the money I care about all the destruction and loss of life (all life)!
Put them all in jail and be done with it!
They admitted they were negligent!
The oil flow out of the well is decreasing...1,000 gallons captured yesterday compared to 300,ooo gallons captured today!! Compared to more captured tomorrow and the day after tomorrow,...,etc!!
It looks worse than earlier today. Much worse.
The videos are deceiving because the turbulence varies at the seal area as they change the balance between the vents, methane gas and how tight they close the seal.
I'm judging overall progress based on 1,000 gallons captured yesterday vs. 300,000 captured today.
You can't necessarily judge performance by a minute to minute exhaust plume comparison.
