    BP cannot pass the blame.

When you contract or subcontract something to be done. U are ultimately responsible. BP is responsible for the worst environmental crisis in this countries History. Congress I hope they act this week and stop the dividend payments. BP first needs to take care of its legal and moral responsibilities. There is no way they have any wiggle room. They must clean it up or go out of business trying to clean it up. There are consequenses. Analyst estimate BP will need to fork out 60 to 100 billion dollars will be spent in the next two months and rightly so. But do not worry the 70 billion shed off of BP's market cap is priced into the stock most likely.

    • Actually they will pass the blame and drag in Anadarko, which owned 40% of the deal, RIG, Haliburton, Cameron, and anyone else they can, but they will remain the main bagholder and target of lawsuits, etc. All the others will end up paying a portion of the total.

    • What's even more astonishing is this is not the first time they are had a disaster, found criminally negligent, killed people. And they still get government contracts. If you hired someone to work on your house and eveytime they came and did work on your house, they blew it up and killed a few family members, why are you still calling them and paying them to do work on your house??? WTF???
