They already reduced it for ex-dividend. How the heck is that allowed? Sign me up for a class action lawsuit!
Unless they file for bankruptcy, they should pay what was already legally declared to shareholders. Folks don't get paid but the company keeps going and management keeps getting paid. What BS.
Lawyers will have a field day with this one. If you purchased the stock after the stock dividend was declared and before the "stock of record date" based on the BP Board declaring the dividend then you have a very strong case against BP. You will get less because of the legal fees and BP will end up paying more than what they would have paid had they honored their word. Its a lose/lose situation on both sides.
You can't sue for cancelled dividend payments dumbass. Dividends are never guaranteed and are declared/cancelled at the BOD discretion. f_wad
Well...we will see.
"They already reduced it for ex-dividend."
...good point.
We might see an upward adjustment to tomorrow's opening price.
If so, new shorts won't be happy.
yeah, right...
There is always this CLASS ACTION talk after every time someone gets burned.
How about joining me in MY class action suit. I was in Vegas and I had 20, the dealer drew a 21. Those basturds.. I think we should sue.
Did it happen to anyone else?
They already reduced the shares. It was stolen.
You were drunk in a cardroom. No comparison.
maybe thats why is up .84 cents today.
