just no sense of urgency anywhere till it was to late to contain.
no no no
will storm wash oil up on coastlines???Yes - - and any storm of consequence will drive the oil inland and pollute the ground water wells of any community for a hundred miles on either side of land fall. This will continue for decades, with each tropical storm, if the blowout never gets capped. The USA from Brownsville, TX to Key West, FL will be changed forever. The only question left is not “when” the well will be under control - but to a question of “if” it is possible at all.
Its a double whammy - rain will deposit oil 100s of miles inland, and the storm surge will flood the bays with oil. And god forbid if the black rain comes in contact with lighting.
it will end up 100's of miles inland. geez, the southern states are going to get coated.
