there is no gaurentee that the relief wells will work.
I wish I knew for certain, one way or another if they will work.
Best chance to relieve pressure and cap the well, is all we get. But really, anyone know what the realistic thing is this deep? All I know for certain is that what they have done so far has NOT worked.
Doesn't necessarilly mean relief well won't work, but it shure would be good to know that lets just say there is 98% chance of success with the relief wells....
Maybe the relief wells hit, and take off pressure, or maybe they also blow out? I don't know, maybe they work ,but don't plug it?
Does anyone know???
The answer to that question is the money maker -here and now...
ruining an ocean is not hype........ i think its been under-reported to this point. people have to realize the magnitude of whats going on. bp will be long gone soon and this will be our problem. think a little
The government is as much to blame in this. They forced deep water drilling to start with. If it happened in shallow waters, the problem would have been contained. Yes, BP screwed up but the government micromanages everyone and everything. Pathetic know nothing group in D.C. especially the current slim in office.
