we've heard it all before . . . we were going to run out 'tomorrow' throughout the 70's . . . it's been 30+ years . . . and if we were about to run out anytime soon, they'd be in the gulf with soup spoons, collecting whatever they could - it truly would be 'liquid gold' . . . we will transition into 'what's next' before running out of anything to where we will get to the point of 'we're running out . . . ? Who cares . . . ' . . .
no, that was Obama Jimmy Carter who said there was an oil shortage back then. Yes, a shortage getting it to the gas pumps. I remember passing the Esso station that had .35 cents per gallon, crap that was high, so I use to put in my 73 Maverick .19 for leaded gas. Ran real good. Next thing you know, gas went to .60 at the pump and in 1980 it was about 1.30, give or take. My advice, let the talibam takeover the Saudis who have ripped us off, who we now protect, you will then see how fast oild comes down. Dr Ho
It started in PA and was drained dry, then Ohio, etc. Then this man from Shell went to Saudia Arabia and hit the jackpot. Before he was dead years ago, Hubbert,sp, said it would probably last up to 2006, others at that time said around 2006. So now or soon, we are going back before the oil all begun. Problem, what to do with jets, cars, boats,....Well, in the Battle of Armageddon it is said the calvary will be back due to no tanks and oil. History goes round.
