I think most of the costs are for drilling the two relief wells. Once those two wells are done, the burn rate will slow down a bit. My estimate is the total cost will run about 59 billion over 5 years.
20 bil on economic fund. 10 bil on mid term cleanup costs. 10 bil on fines, and 10 bil on lost revenue, and 8-9 bil on long term reserve for clean up.
