    Cash Burn...

BP's burning approx $70 mil per day or $2 bil per month or $24 bil per year. Sure their operations are generating $30 bil in cash annually, but the lion share of that is earmarked for capex, which is important to their ability to continue to generate cash flow in the future. Sure, they can sell assets, but that too will impair their future cash flow.

These guys may be able to avoid BK if the well is capped and the clean up efforts become more successful than they've been, but the company is severely impaired and I don't believe the stock price can hold up at this level.
