BP p.l.c. Message Board

    For Nadsmis to Read

"why do you often take your postings to a personal level? no need for that. you want to influence people, that is not the way to do it. people aren't dumb for having opposing positions. name calling isn't necessary."

Who wrote those wise words? None other than nadsmis, right here on the BP board, May 11, 2013 12:45 PM.

I suggest he take a dose of his own medicine and try to raise the level of civility here. I want actual information, and so does everyone else who peruses this thread from time to time.

Maybe nadsmis didn't write the fake safty message, but it's laughably fake either way.

Whatever...BP ain't going up anytime soon. And will go down once the appellate court affirms Barbier's denial of injunction, and finds gross negligence. Then, you will see investors panick!!

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

You never post anything of interest to shareholders. You must like BP because it r,eminds you of your nickname. Baby Pennis.

    • What is this post about?? What has this to do with BP? You have some kind of a vendetta going on? How distasteful you are.

    • “I want actual information, and so does everyone else who peruses this thread from time to time.”

Good statement, but I don’t think this should had followed.

“Whatever...BP ain't going up anytime soon. And will go down once the appellate court affirms Barbier's denial of injunction, and finds gross negligence. Then, you will see investors panick!!”

More speculative than actual information. Wouldn’t you agree?

      • I agree that was poorly phrased, Thom. I feel very strongly the appellate court will not help BP.I have spoken with every lawyer I know and meet, and researched what attorneys familiar with the issue think, and read what the appellate lawyers asked BP during argument. So...informational? Maybe not. My bad. But you won't see a *good* argument for reversal.

(note - BP argues in a separate appeal the settlement should be affirmed. Its a little confusing, but the point stands).

Let's wait and see what the court of appeals for the 5th district has to say. That should be any week now.

And, of course, I wait with baited breath for the gross negligence finding, and will closely follow the trial in September over the amount of oil spilled.

If I see anything showing I have been incorrect, I will post that too!!
