    • ...and how is this good news for BP?

The judge found HAL 1) Self-reported the data deletion, 2) HAL had no history of wrongdoing, 3) the deletion didn't impact any safety or oil damage, and 4) HAL tried to recover the deleted data.

The Court approved the $200,000 fine. That's less money than you can find in loose change under the CEO's couch.

It's so laughable for any BP shill to be happy about this news, I almost am led to believe this is genius sarcasm, a la The Onion.

But I know better - it's more BP lies and stupidity.

      Sentiment: Strong Sell

    • I want to know how come such a low fine and a small contribution is made and that is it. I honestly feel Halliburton is more responsible for this oil spill than BP. Just my opinions...

      Sentiment: Strong Buy
