As they stagger from the bar back into their rooms, some are writing cause they think Ed is not going to unload 25% of them after they actually tried to work for 4 days. LOL After reading their nonsense, im starting to gush for them heros!
Ah, I am the second line. And you worked today? You worked Cable maintenance? Did you cross the picket line? Is that what your saying?
You have a poor outlook on life, and are enjoying your 120 hours of fame and power, but sadly, that will come to an end tomorrow. Hope you brought you safety glasses.
>Why do people feel compelled to fight the institution.
Because people aren't all like you. Some people feel differently about this than you do. Its called having an opinion.
If you disagree with my opinion, then fine. You have that right.
What is the "institution" anyway? You sound like a crackpot.
Grow up and remember that life is about struggling for what you feel is right. If you like to come on here and talk
The institution? I'm still laughing at that one.
fgtesbcnow I'm with you!
Why do people feel compelled to fight the institution. Everyone has a right to their own individual decision. Enough individual decisions steer the instituion. Thats free market.
These are the same people who rather fight the institution of free speech on the radio because they heard something they didn't like...instead of just turning the dial.
actually, I didn't stagger in. I worked 14 today, and had a great time. Just like old times. I did encounter a guy that owned a Donut Shop, and he said "I am sure glad you gauys are back to work, I was losing business. He was a little confused when I told him I was a manager. Guess I know where all the techs hang out now.
If CWA members think they are not getting what they deserve then quit and find greener pastures.
I've been out there on the job hunt and its tough out there to begin with. To find a job nowadays with all the benefits the union is negotiating is nearly impossible.
Read again...slowly this time so you can understand. The 'bar' on management benefits as you refer to it, is set by the labor agreement. Since bargained-for employees pay absolutely no premium while costs skyrocket, premiums paid by management employees have more than doubled in three years. The difference is obvious. One group pays more than what is fair, and the other pays nothing in the way of premiums. Anyway...make your case again?
