unfortunately, i live in maryland. the slots will never pass. and as what was just pointed out, will communities support them? the answer is NO NO NO NO. I live in souther maryland, work near DC, and frequently make trips to baltimore. there is not a single newspaper which has a positive spin on the slots. people in collge park were going nuts with the thought that the slots may go in at the laurel race track only 15 minutes up I-95. nobody likes them, and nobody wants them. with the exception of the gov. of course.
