    it's all about the first quarter (nobody cares about 4th quarter-its ancient history). Current sales trends equate to first quarter revenues of $496.1 million versus $498 million in first quarter of 2008.Service revenues are up 3.5% while merchandise revenues are down 1.3%. The good part is PBY's costs are down ( payroll and advertising) and it saw gross profit margin expansion (the holy grail among retailers) Remember, just 4 weeks ago analysts had been expecting PBY to generate 1st quarter revenues of only $465 million-they are substantially beating that forecast
