Knowledge or information is Power.....which can create wealth. I read virtually every financial magazine that is published but like Business Week, Money, Fortune and Forbes the best. I also read the Business Section of the two local newspapers and Wall Street Journal daily as well as Barron's weekly. You can tell I surf the net for info as well. As for bonds, I first got into bonds when my father-in-law asked me to manage his account. I only wanted to put him in very conservative accounts since he was in his 70's at the time.....hence my beginning in bonds. I took $240,000 and turned it into over $800,000 in just 7 years....which was after him taking $30,000 a year out of it plus social security for him to live on. Would have been just over a million dollars in 7 years. I learned to trade bonds like they were stocks. After he passed on, I retired at 55 and put about 80% of my money in bonds.....and have done fantastic especially after last 6 months. I generally day trade 3-5 stocks daily and rotate several times a month from about 80+/- current bond holdings. Good luck. DaninFW
