    New CFO from AC Moore ??

    A company that sold itself at a discount to market after years of failing to earn a decent return.

    Im not impressed with this hire.

    It appears there was some afterhours trading above the closing price. Cant really count on afterhours trading to tell us much.

    Can be manipulated by someone trying to sell above market.

      This hire is a joke. Based on press release, their new CFO has been unemployed since 2009.......3 years! Paid $400K plus $200K signing bonus and guaranteed pro-rata bonus of per cent of $300K annualized. It just gets better n' better. DaninFW

        The press release stated that he joined AC Moore in 2009, not left. From the release, "From 2007 until joining A.C. Moore in 2009, Mr. Stern held roles at Coldwater Creek, the multi-channel specialty retailer, including Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis and Corporate Controller." From a quick Google search of him, I think he has been there until fairly recently.
