I wonder why they did not disclose pro forma eps.
I think because they want the shares to go down, so they can get more bang for their buck when they begin their stock repurchase plan.the cheper it is the more shares they will be able to buy back in the open market.
and remember buybacks are done to return money to shareholders - so it doesn't make much sense to destroy shareholder value first just to buy it back up.
To put it simple the sales results are still underwhelming and the company needs to change this ASAP. Only a turnaround in the business will create shareholder value for the long term.
