    • I agree that the environment is changing for businesses like PBY. This is especially true of their service centers.Yes, modern cars need service less often. When they do need attention, they require more specialized attention due to proprietary electronics systems, etc. This makes PBY's "broad-spectrum" type service, a bit anachronistic. Perhaps they should consider leasing out the service bays to independent brand specialists? Ford, BMW, Dodge, etc. It would make people more confident that they knew what they were doing, and might bypass the stealer when it comes to getting their car serviced. They are going to have to think outside the box in order to avoid the demise of their business.
      I believe that it was the service centers that lost money. This won't change unless PBY implements some creative revamps of that part of the business, IMHO.
