Just read AP article where Pep Boys has signed a five-year agreement to sponsor the Indy Racing League series. The series will be called the Pep Boys Indy Racing League. The company will award $1 million to the series champion, to be split evenly between the winning car owner and winning driver. Pep Boys will also contribute to the purse of each IRL race. First race is Saturday (Indy 200 at Walt Disney World Speedway). The premier race on the IRL circuit is the Indianapolis 500 in May.
Just thought I would post this news since there hasn't been a lot of activity on the message board.
