In order to become a really huge networking company as opposed to a niche player it seems like the core is required. No other company has the core except Cisco. JNPR won against Cisco for the Gig-BE deal. Juniper has all the makings of a huge company. Not to mention the shift to pushing security into the network, thats another huge growth area that will benefit networkers instead of apps players like we see today.
Another topic, anybody know whats going on with FDRY? I bought 500 shares yesterday but this selloff is severe, there has to be news but what?
I covered at 24.44 and will wait until after today's FED announcement to see how things for JNPR sort out for today. I look to short again today. This stock looks very weak right now but it might get a pop this afternoon.
