The men acting all macho, and the women acting like a bunch of fashionistas, standing their in their heels and designer garb. What a crock, what a ridiculous bunch of people. And you make money by killing them...good for you!
<<You just said that politicians/government is too ignorant to be able to calculate the benefit/risk ratios of things. >>
No, illiterate retard, I did not say they were ignorant. I said they get campaign contributions from tobacco companies.
<<Then why on earth would you want them to be in charge of ANYTHING?>>
Then who *should* decide public policy? A king?
<<Alrighty then numbnuts:) You obviously just want to argue regardless of facts/data....>>
In reality I was asking you to provide facts to back up your claim that the few measely dollars smokers pay each day in taxes pay for the huge healthcare costs they foist on taxpayers.
This clown who claimed cigarette taxes are set by insurance companies thinks he is a Man of Facts.
You just said that politicians/government is too ignorant to be able to calculate the benefit/risk ratios of things. Then why on earth would you want them to be in charge of ANYTHING? Thats right....
I don't understand "statistically"? Alrighty then numbnuts:) You obviously just want to argue regardless of facts/data....
Hey, respond ten times to this post as well Mr. Scatterbrain.
And get back to buying your jewish bookstore stocks then.
<<Smokers are just the canaries--they show the quality of the air we are breathing. Fifteen per cent of lung cancer victims never smoked. >>
If smokers make up 25 percent of the population and 85 percent of the lung cancer victims, what does that say about smoking?
And many of the non-smokers who got lung cancer got it from secondhand smoke.
<<. And the assumption that every person who smokes and dies from lung cancer died because of smoking doesn't make sense.>>
No serious scientist does that. What makes you think that happens? Do you read medical journals, or is your expertise limited to deranged stock message boards?
<<I don't think it is safe to smoke under polluted conditions--however, those polluted conditions are not good for any of us. >>
In reality smoking is very harmful even if you are not exposed to pollution. Perrhaps you also think that it was unsafe to be in the World Trade Center on 9/11 because there was some car pollution that day.
<<...that is what insurance companies do...statistical analysis on the cost/benefit of ANY situation so they can make as much money as possible.>>
The tax rates on cigarettes are not determined by insurance companies, you idiot.
They are typically determined by politicians who receive a lot of campaign contributions from tobacco companies.
