actually, that is the default address they give when you click on the link that says 'click here if you don't have an email address'. I may have gotten the wording wrong on the post but i was referring to what they give you when you click the link.

You'd probably have better luck if you used the correct substitution email address. The one you listed is incorrect. I will not repeat the correct one since I'm not sure that should be posted. Ask your manager or read the fine help screen next to the email address field.
Customers really don't want to hear that, though. They come to the store to purchase a product and bring it home NOW. They also don't appreciate having to wait while a customer ID is created for them. Some refuse to go through the process and leave with their arms empty.
Getting the merchandise to the shelves seems to be a problem quite often with Staples.
