    management

Working for Staples as a Manager is a risk. Unless you are willing to work 12hrs or more per day and work overnighters to clean and spruce up your, the chances of servival is very slim. The turnover rate in management is the highest of any retail company in the US.

    • Bull....I have been a GM for 6 years...I have yet to be made to work 12 hours a day, or 60 to 80 hours a week....I don't feel my job is on the line ever.....perhaps the management style and leadership you display or fail to display is the root or cause of the problem....maybe you should try defining the word manageing....manage thru your people...hire quality and get quality results....I am not preaching, I am just telling you what I believe in...and the results have been a raise ever year and a bonus every time it is due.....
