Staples needs to think of their CUSTOMERS,put then first,go that extra mile for them,I have been in the office supply business 42 years and I have never seen a company like Staples that puts alot of their Customers on the back burner.
A few weeks ago I had a Staples Associate call me about a delivery,these people closed at 3:00pm but were willing to wait till 4:00pm for their delivery,I even called my Boss who was on the road that day and asked him to get intouch with the driver and see that the delivery was made by 3:00pm,he could not do that so the delivery was not made till the next day. I just could not believe it.
If the driver has to go out of his way and back track,SO WHAT! It is the Customers who are paying them,without the Customers,what do you have? NO BUSINESS.
There is one Customer this Staples Associate told me the same day,that they had waited 4 days for their delivery and they were so mad,they will never buy from Staples again.
They also need to hire drivers that are NOT going to bring orders back,they all have cell phones,if there is a delivery problem call the manager or another driver,do not just bring it back. Customers want their supplies.
They need to redo their entire delivery operation,fire the Managers that do not care and hire ones that know how to take care of the Customers the right way.
