this a real problem. The CE people that have stayed and committed their careers to SPLS are still treated as second class in this company. regardless of their performance, they are the first to go when layoffs are announced, rather than judging them on their performance. SPLS sr management are a closed group that protect less talented Staples people as long as they tow the company line (which includes NEVER question any decisions being made in Framingham) Based on their performance in the last few years, why are there no changes at the top of SBM? They have failed to take advantage of ODP and OMX poor performance and are now flat as a board. Clearly the solution is to remove the CE people.
