Article: Why Lousy companies with good management are still lousy companies: A RESPONSE...

If Staples is run by such a good management team, they why do they have to close 300+ stores, put thousands on unemployment and ruin their lives IN ORDER TO save $500 million dollars. Since they are such a great team of financial gurus, how come they haven't figured out a way to get Ron Sargent out of the company and get someone with some better business sense than him. He's a smart one because he's been able to keep siphoning money ( to the tune of millions) every year out of that company and still let it go to hell. When they wake up and smell the coffee, it will be too late. Glad I dumped their stock a long time ago. Every time I go in there, the prices keep climbing and climbing. I say "BOYCOTT STAPLES".

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

      • this happened down the road so there are a lot of people working in these stores with illegal licenses and identities. Store need to take fingerprints of the employees and do background checks. Then give them a class on resect to customers. The word now is a huge boycott because of the lack of hiring people from in town and bussing in cheap people. They work cheap because they are crooks getting information from you. dummies and you are dummies. Our company is an expert at identification andchecks and we did a few for fun. WOW So byn not checking backgrounds and allowing them to go in senior citizens homes they are screwed right there. There must be many tapes floating around of crimes.

Go seek and read todays laws
the company can be charged plus every single employee.
        Read the Patriot act
        100s of executives orders
        the fraud act of 2008
the 4th circuit court decision and you will know the whole deal
        Good luck
