Fairly heavy volume today which makes nervous, but comparing AMPE to IWM and IBB over the last 5 days shows modest correlation. An article in Barrons notes the selling is "indiscriminate", so I'm still in the camp that this latest drop is outside the control of the company.
You have a really good point about not fully capitalizing on the Ampion news. Even if profits are 2 years off, one might expect more upside reaction. Hopefully, patience and accumulating more will pay off.
Hey, Billwilliams836, I find your comments to be very intelligent. With all my frustration over the stock price of AMPE, I do believe that Ampion is a game changer drug. I expect/hope that AMPE will acheive FDA approval for Ampion in 2014(or sooner), and will also realize revenues from it in 2014. The fund raise was primarily to set up manufacturing for Ampion, so they will be ready when approval is granted. I think any Pharma deal will happen after FDA approval, when they can negotiate from a position of strength.
