As an individual investor, it is very difficult to stay patient as the Ampio process unfolds. Feeling ever more positive about the long term (6 months to 2 year) prospects of the company, and its share price, continually slams against the needs to make estimated tax payments, pay tuition for kids, and the costs of planned spring and summer vacations and trips, etc. I want it to happen NOW!
The individual investor often loses out for these reasons. Not unlike "the house" in Las Vegas, the institutions have more patience, and often win (and win much bigger than the individual) as a result. Institutions do have quarterly reporting to their constituencies. And often actions are taken specifically as a result thereof. That gives me some hope that by the end of the first quarter (March 31) we will at least see a stock price in excess of $7. I think Citi and Jeffries will be under some pressure to undertake whatever activities they can for their institution investors in AMPE to reflect that investment as either neutral or positive for the first quarter.
Anyone's guess... but I just keep hoping I can exercise the kind of patience that will provide me with the big "win" I fully expect, and make the kind of gains that institutions often produce as individuals lose their patience and run too soon.
