I have been watching and accumulating WNC for some time. Watching the trailer fleet get older and older, and now the average is up to 8 years. The big boy manufacturers like GM and Ford won't even let trailer over 10 years old onto their premises. Even in a slow recovery there will be a flood of demand.
Management know this as well, and has been acquiring manufacturing capacity and focusing on increasing margins. Why waste scarce capacity on low margin orders once the floodgates open.
Trailer manufacturing may be boring, but it is on the upsurge now that we are in the recovery cycle.
All true, Wobble. The CNBC piece yesterday really said nothing new to anyone who's been following the stock. I'm not expecting much from 2QTR however and may get the opportunity to accumulate in the single digits after the earnings release.
