qniform - I'm in the same boat. I keep adding and lowering my base - almost as fast as the stock price keeps dropping. Still I do not see any major flaws in the company - just awful sector and poor real estate market. As long as I don't see any long-term flaws, I will keep adding as the dividends appear solid (and unfortunately increasing as % of pps) and the pps will have good potential for growth when the real estate market improves.
One might anticipate some up-tick in share price this week as the ex-dividend date is the 30th; yet with that said all eyes are on the banking news with housing numbers,forclosure and lower resale prices being reported daily.
From what I have read, the regional banks are best positioned as a good many of them still required fair lending information before they tossed cash into the street just to sell the paper once it was signed.
