In SF Biz Journal and talking to manuso in early Jan. about orathecin... In January 2005, SuperGen withdrew its application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for Orathecin, it's prostate cancer drug. SuperGen pulled its application after discussions with the FDA made it clear the data it submitted would not be adequate to win approval for the drug. My opinion made many of times over and over, anyhow, anyway they can get rid of this potential drug wannabee would be a blessing. Manuso had told us of a spinoff on orathecin last quarter earnings call and I don't believe there is any or will be any offers in the future.
They are not trying to sell the drug to someone. It's a spinout, which means that SUPG will start another company with probably some funding.
Here's what new company starts with: SPINOUT
Orathecin One pipeline drug Avicine a cancer vaccine Maybe $15M
This is a whole new company that probably operates under SUPG roof. Rory, when you write about there will be no offers. They are not trying to sell this drug. I may have to put you also on ignore. This is the second or third time this board has explained what's happening here to you personally.
