It's no news that ASTX is at the Rodman and Renshaw conference. It's kind of cool that ASTX is participating in the Epigenetics panel at the conference. It's too bad that Manuso happens to be the ASTX representative for this panel. (I would hope it would have been someone with more knowledge.)
What I think is really cool is that one of the other participants on that panel is Jean Pierre Issa. He is one of the leading epigenetics researchers and a globally recognized authority on this topic. He has extensive experience with Dacogen and I believe he is also involved with the SGI110 testing as part of the "dream team."
With Issa's involvement on this panel, there is a chance that we might get some news worthy quotes out of this presentation instead of the usual Manuso claptrap.
Wow, it never ends with this group. One gets a brain fart and another shows up in support. Last week mero stated the FDA would not approve a astx drug, because they would not understand the new technology. Where he dreams up that load of garbage.
This week he believes that Jhoti would do a better presentation than Dr. Manuso on epigenetics. Dr. M has been with dacogen and sgi-110 forever. Dr. jhoti just recently came on board on the astex buyout. His expertise is the astx pipeline.
The good point here is the panel discussion could be interesting.
