More and more companies planning on cutting hours to under 30 hours a week. Every thing you buy will be affected by this mandate. Can the small guy pass these costs on? Let's say you have 20 employees, you pay them a fair wage, but all of a sudden you have to also have health insurance for them. What is the average costs assocated here? Here is the flip side, for the individual working, this is not a free item. They have to pay some of the costs themselves. Even if it's $50 a pay check, it's going to hurt our economy. The large companies benefit by lessor competition, because the little guy cannot compete.
I believe the House of Representatives needs to vote PRESENT from now on. Let the Democrats have everything they wish for and OWN it. Let's see how this works out.
