29% "major" response rate.
what was the total measurable response rate? I'm sure not all responses to treatment are deemed "major." for this reason, your post may be misleading. did you read the abstract?
Also WEREN'T they treating patients who failed prior treatments. Also majority were AML versus MDS patients. Also consider age of this group. Results seem good, surprised very little price and volume impact.
Whatever moves the stock and I suppose this trial was just meant for dose escalation and not measurable responses so I apologize for any confusion regarding total response rate. But I was just confused on the matter just seemed dacogen had a higher measurable rate but I could be wrong. (I did read the abstract) Read my post I said "major"
What drug are you smoking? 29% major responses in a heavily pretreated pts., is solid. They also have a very strong biomarker, 100% when they see hyp above 10%. Did anyone pickup on the 10 day trial that they just expanded into. Plus the reported Et's are superior to dac and vid.
Granted this wasn't earth shartering, but this is definitely improvement over dac. I wonder how well this stuff works in new pts?
