    Holders of Stock at 12/31/12

    Saw something interesting on the shareholders of record. On the Nasdaq site, under ownership you will see that it says that Blackrock had about 3M shares. On Jan 30th, a 13G was filed that says Blackrock was now over a 5% owner of Astex with about 6.7M shares. The filing was dated 1/30/13 for fiscal year ended 12/31. Does that mean that Blackrock bought about 3.7M shares in Jan 13 or is one of these reporting entities wrong? Thinking that Nasdaq is wrong.

      You only need to look at a minute chart to see how Blackrock manipulated the market with an Alogo platform in order to buy more shares. Others are doing the same thing now and for the last week. SEC is planning their next series of meetings on HFT trading and market manipulation and will hold 390 lunch or dinner meeting over the next 3 years so they can solve this problem before 2019.
