At page 40 of ASTX's Annual Report, it notes that shares outstanding went from 60.3 million on 12/31/10 to 93.3 million on 12/31/12. I don't think there was a secondary. The kpipeline is great, but this delution is troublesome.
Bucket, I see that you are still bashing the company and presenting half truths yet again. The increase in outstanding shares was attributable to the acquisition of Astex Therapeutics. This was essentially a merger of equals and was partially paid for with stock. There is nothing problematic here.
Who is troubled by SUPG buying Astex Pharma? Glad to see you read the report but disappointed that you were not aware that the 33 million shares you are discussing were the shares paid to the previous owners of the privately held Astex Therapuetics when they were purchased by Supergen. That is how SUPG became ASTX.
Did you not know this or are you trying to mislead the board? I'm hoping it is just that you are new here and don't know the history of the company. Otherwise, you may be accused a posting half-truths a la buckethead.
