    rnp vs rpf

    to the board
ive owned rpf before in a tax deferred account.
ive looked at both and rpf is all reits of equity where as rnp are preferds as well as mtg. reits with some equity reits.
based on yield and charts however both perform the same with a slight a very slight edge to rpf in performance.
however in terms of volume rnp seems to do more.
im looking to renter this area in a tax deferred retirement account.
i would appreciate any info. as to why u guys prefer rnp over rpf.
it seems to me based on holdings there may be more mtg. risk in rnp.
however i do feel that 2008 may not be kind to realty in general however i feel every folio should have some realty. these r 2 well run funds.however in 2008 both in my opinion could have divie cut or return of capital increased.
    your opinions please
thxs in advance and a happy new year to this board
