I'm not a pumper or basher. I buy stocks when they have a good fundamental and down because of a bad news. I short stocks when they have a shaky fundamental and skyrocket because of a good news. I admit losing money at least on paper on Atea that I believe it belongs to the 2nd category. WHY? This is a tiny company with 68 million cap and more than 100 employees. It struggles under $10 for many years in the same business with MSFT, ORCL, IBM,...Beside no mutual funds buy Atea. No analyst follows this stock. Suddenly with a good earning,it skyrocket and keep going up and up. I wonder who buy this stock and what's they buy for? The only reason I think is they expect some one crazy enough willing to buy higher then they sell to them. But I believe most people are smart. They will stop buying at certain level because they recignize the absurdity. I believe in myself and keep hang on at least until after next earning.
I am too hanging on till at least earnings announcements ( since I am not on margin, I will actually hold till this comes in mid-teens , even if it takes 2 quarters)and I see a complete dive in 4th quarter compared to 3rd quarter. 2004 4th quarter results were announced on March 28th. So expect the results then
BTW, imagine a company doing business only for Microsoft environments where as the biggest client production environments are anything but microsoft.
