ActiveRain sues Move Inc. over failed acquisition Move denies charges, seeks jury trial
By Glenn Roberts Jr. Inman News
ActiveRain, an online real estate blogging community and social network with about 47,000 members, has filed a lawsuit against property-search giant Move Inc. that seeks millions in damages and alleges that Move broke the law when it backed out of an acquisition plan and launched its own blogging platform.
Ahhh.... figures. I wonder what they were going to pay for them. ActiveRain promotes itself as being the friend of the agent and then does this.......... can't wait to hear the reaction from some agents when they find out this was in the works....
Some agents are in love with ActiveRain. It's not going to help Move's reputation either. These companies can't seem to understand that you can't do things that will p*ss off the Realtor community if you rely on them for revenue. You would have thought they would have learned from HouseValues mistakes.
