Wow, it's amazing to call someone else an idiot when you post a reply in the wrong message thread!
And BTW, I'm not from Boston. I've been there a few times on business but it's not a favorite city of mine. I just picked a handle so I could watch what losers would post when they have nothing else to say. Thx for the entertainment.
It tells us all a lot about you that the drivel on this board is the high point of your week. Our sympathies...
Perhaps you should go try and get an update on your listing.
Are people stupid in Boston? I don't think so. Some seller's notice their home was never 'featured' on the world's #1 website when it doesn't sell... and they wonder why other agents are 'featuring' homes for their sellers... and they bring it up with their agent... It's happening. I stand buy this. It's the truth. And R.com's sales will climb as the situation becomes more acute. To deny this is delusion.
I thought this board was about sharing info. That's all I am doing -- based on what I am seeing in the market. Realtor.com is a very effective place to advertise and cheap compared to the papers. I have used this to my advantage and can convince most sellers that it has greater impact with real buyers.
I'm sorry if you are short, but that's the way I see it.
Yes you're right...
Realtors are now under huge pressure to show their sellers their home is being exposed and are getting so desparate some of them are even listing on FSBO sites. This bodes very well for Move the #1 website indeed. Sales will be roaring within 3 months as the Realtors come under increasing pressure. The Seellers know where the action is and they are already starting to demand their home be "featured" on Realtor.com. Great point Boston Pete!
Hey TRE, are you going out to NAR next week in Vegas? There's a panel session on Wednesday with Move, Zillow, Google, and others. Should be interesting. I'm flying back right when it's scheduled to happen so won't be able to make it, but I'm sure someone will post a transcript of it.
