How much higher VHC will move up.? My guess is $75.

    • I wonder what their plan is now that their co-defendant defected and settled and bought a license from VHC. The fact is that another company, other than Microsoft, is saying VHC has valid patents and we can't beat them in court so let's settle. Take a license. We want what you have VHC. We infringed on your patents and you took us to court and your expert lawyer forced us to pay up. You win VHC. VirnetX has now started the revenue stream and look for much more to come. Keep the big picture in mind. This is just the beginning. Just imagine the financial insight that Qualcomm shareholders had at a similar stage in their company's early days when the licensing revenues just started coming in.

    • Ask yourself which would be the best way for Apple to recover their losses.

    • I heard a much higher percentage royalty than that if the defendants delayed until after the Markman to settle (and the Markman is already over with and was very favorable for VHC).

    • In 2011 AAPL had $108 billion in revenues.
Lets say 50% (assumption) of those revenues infringed on VHC patents or $54 billion.
If VHC gets 1% royalty (low end) that is $540 million for 2011 alone.
If VHC is entitled in multiple years in the past for royalties from AAPL as a lump sum settlement; and an annuity for 4G going forward, then AAPL is in for seriously large damages.
VHC has 50 million shares outstanding; so for 2011 the APPL royalties using these assumpitons is over $10 per share.
Draw your own conclusions on VHC PPS forecast and what AAPL should do.

    • VHC = V-ery H-igh C-ost for patent infringers on VHC's V-ery H-igh C-ost Next Generation Security Patents. The longer you wait to settle the higher the cost. The simple reality is that another company other than Microsoft is saying VHC has valid patents and we can't beat them in court so let's settle. Take a license. We want what you have VHC. We already infringed on your patents but you took us to court and now we must pay. You win VHC. VirnetX has now started the revenue stream and look for much more to come. Keep the big picture in mind. This is only the beginning now. Remember that VHC hired the very best possible lawyer. Consider the rare financial insight that Qualcomm shareholders had at a similar stage in their company's early days when licensing revenues just started coming in. The best days are coming soon. The judge in Texas has been very favorable to VHC so far, especially in regards to the Markman.

    • VHC has the BEST OF THE BEST OF PATENTS
