VHC won $106M from MSFT in early 2010 and just won $368K with running royalties tbd (sound familiar). McKool Smith won this for them. If McKool took a typical 33% for the win, that left this company with $67M in early 2010 for their first win and a total to date of $313M (+running royalties TBD). VHC is $34 and 51M shares outstanding...so the market is giving VHC a $1.75b market cap after taking 2+ years to win what maybe smaller than what VRNG pulls off in the next couple weeks. If $313M is "earnings" in the bank (Apple could still appeal but that doesn't seem to phase VHC investors) and no one gives any further value to the rest of their suits or patents, then shouldn't VHC be a $6 stock based on some logic I have seen on this board? Even if the total with running royalties is $700M, this stock is running at a 4-5x multiple of "earnings"...Apply that to even a modest $300M win for VRNG here and you have a $12 stock. BTW, per Yahoo, they have $53M in cash today...sound familiar?
Get your stories straight, McCool Smith is on an 8% contingency basis for all of these cases. End of story

So if they have $53M from $184M net win, they have quite the burn rate...or did you get a heck of a dividend payment?
Also Microsoft paid over $200 million, basically double what the original verdict was.
