    Who's to blame?

At first glance it looks like VHC's attorneys fault for not spending time spelling out specific examples of infringement.
However, when you look at the situation - the time for VHC was limited and they had to address all ths BS that Apple's attorneys were continuously hurling. In point of fact, VHC's attorneys had to waste a lot of time putting out fires that Apples' attorneys kept starting. It was necessary to address all the issues or something might have slipped between the cracks.
So what in essence happened was that due to the time limit and amount of issues that had to be addressed, there was no time to particularized the infringement.

It is therefore the fault of the judge that time provision was not allowed for VHC to make a detailed case. Thereby, Apple squeaked through, unfortunately and inequitably.

It is wishful thinking on my part but the judge should realize what happened, set aside the verdict and give VHC the opportunity to be fully heard.
