Today, Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m. EST our company was trading 85k shares, compared to the average, normal whole day trading only 35k shares. Seems like something is going on. Maybe more insiders jumping on the wagon and buying, like bruce recently bought? Or the nice pps increase getting noticed by more people? Or the likelihood of an increased divvy to be announced at the next earnings release? Maybe all three.....matsky, s12, nsa..what are your thoguhts? By the way, what happened to daveparker...for a long time he was the only one posting on this board. -Scott
I'm surprised to see this much volume in such a short time. I can't remember this stock ever trading this much in the last few years, even on the day after earnings release. Might I add that the average volume was close to 10k shares a day not too long ago. Only because of the increased activity since the last earnings release has that average volume number gone up.
I'm guessing that one or multiple players are looking to put a position on this stock. Day traders don't trade this stock because volume is so low and the spread is so wide, so it's hard for me to think of another scenario.
In any case, my own personal analysis shows me a stock price that is far greater than what it's trading at now, so I can understand how maybe some other people are coming to the same conclusion.
i think someone in the $10.40-50 range had enough shares being sold to prevent it from going higher. i think it indicated several times a certain amount of shares available & ASKED at 10.50 & once sold more replaced it at the same price. my guess is that someone had a lot to sell & did so by letting it look like a small amount was available & once sold -added close to the same amount to sell again at the same price! i think the stock would of been higher if this block was removed & hopefully it will or was! i got this info. from my 10 yr. old grandson. this is just one of my wild guesses so i might be totally wrong but when someone took out the available shares -more returned at same price!
